How to Factory Reset HP Printer?

You may have to factory reset your printer to troubleshoot any technical issue. It resets your printer settings back to factory default. Here is how you can factory reset HP printer. First, go to Setup on your printer’s screen and click Tools. Then, click on Restore Defaults, and your printer will begin to restart. After it has restarted, your HP printer will be restored to its factory default settings.

    Restore factory settings
    Turn the product off. Disconnect the power cable from the product for 30 seconds and then reconnect.
    Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on.
    Release the Resume button.
