    @Chris Messina I don't think it is much more difficult than remembering www.google.com, which is an address I rarely have to look up. But I think you are missing an important point. When people don't find this URL on your site, they keep looking for it, and find lots of other misleading info, and eventually give up.

    This is a fair criticism and something that we want to address as we continue to make improvements to our newly relaunched website. It has a long way to go still, and this kind of feedback is very helpful in directing our attention. Thanks — and sorry to hear about your frustration.

    I also only visisted the openid site because I wanted to get an openid and also found the you-already-have-one-cause-of-google-account reference. But that actually didn't help, because I still don't know what to type in the open id field. I did try the url given by chris24, and that didn't work for the openid enabled app i was using. Anyway, I just gave up in the end. Lots of sites have a facebook login anyway. Isn't that the same thing?
