    When single sign-on authentication is enabled through OpenID Connect for RESTful API workload clients, enable SSL for the OpenID client in your production environment by using a properly chained certificate from a trusted certificate authority (CA). SSL communication between OpenIdClient and SYMREST secures client/server communication for REST-based workload submission.
